Traditional shrove tuesday pancakes

Recipe Ingredients for Pancakes

4 oz plain flour
1 egg
1/2 pint 1% milk

Recipe Directions for Pancakes

  1. sieve flour into bowl and make a well in the middle

  2. add the egg to the well and mix adding the milk a little at a time until a smooth batter is made

  3. add a ladleful to a hot non stick frying pan and cook on a medium heat until set.

  4. Turn and cook on the other side

  5. Serve with your choosen fillings
