Homemade pancakes, using applesauce instead of oil. mmmmm

Recipe Ingredients for Pancakes

1 cup flour
1 T sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
2 T apple sauce

Recipe Directions for Pancakes

  1. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl combine egg, milk and apple sauce. Add to flour mixture all at once and stir just until blended.

  2. Pour about 1/4 C batter onto hot non-stick skillet (use cooking spray if needed). Cook until bubbles form then start to pop on top - then flip and cook until golden brown.

  3. Makes 10 pancakes
