These are good homemade pancakes that actually fill you up and don't leave you wanting to eat 10 of them. You can sub 1/2 cup oats, or something like flaxseed, for 1/2 cup of flour for an even heartier pancake.

Recipe Ingredients for Pancakes

2 cups flour
2 tbls sugar
1 tbls baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 tbls oil
1 1/2 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for Pancakes

  1. Preheat skillet to 350 degrees

  2. Mix dry ingredients until well blended

  3. In a second bowl blend wet ingredients until well blended

  4. Pour wet into dry and mix well

  5. pour batter onto skillet making a round cake size can vary to your preference

  6. cook until bubbles form on cake

  7. flip and cook for a couple of minutes until golden brown.
