These are fluffy and filling and the only pancakes my family lets me make.

Recipe Ingredients for Pancakes from International House of Pancakes

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Pancakes from International House of Pancakes

  1. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium-low to medium heat. Spray lightly with cooking spray.

  2. Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.

  3. Pour 1/4 cups of batter into the hot pan forming 4-inch circles.

  4. When the edges start to bubble and harden and the underside is light brown (about 1 minute), flip the pancakes and lightly brown the other side. (Watch closely, they brown quickly!)
