Recipe Ingredients for Pan Seared romaine

1 head romaine lettuce
1 tbsp peanut oil
1/2 tsp hoisin sauce
1/2 tsp chili sauce
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper

Recipe Directions for Pan Seared romaine

  1. Cut lettuce head in half, rinse.

  2. Heat oil in pan and place lettuce in hot oil. Oil may pop, so be careful.

  3. Cook lettuce on each side for about 30 seconds - 1 minute.

  4. Spread hoisin/chili sauce on one side, and season with salt and pepper.
