Seasoned salmon pan saute in olive oil

Recipe Ingredients for Pan saute Dilled Samon

3 oz salmon fillet
1 tsp olive oil
2 tsp dill weed
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 small onion, sliced
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Pan saute Dilled Samon

  1. Use whole salmon fillet, cut in 2-3 inch steaks with skin on one side.

  2. season salmon with salt, pepper and dill weed.

  3. heat olive oil in skillet and saute onion on medium high until halfway done

  4. push onion aside in pan, add salmon, meat side down and sear until browned, then turn over on skin side

  5. scoop onion on top of salmon, cover and cook on medium to medium low until done. Skin will burn and salmon can be lifted off skin to plate.
