A nice maincourse in a seafood oriented menu. Goes especially well with asparagus

Recipe Ingredients for Pan-Grilled Salmon w/ Crab Cream Sauce

2 1/2 lbs Salmon steak
200 grams cooked crab
5 cloves minced garlic
1 minced onion
500 ml cream
1 cup whole milk
2 tsp olive oil
2 tbs Butter
2 tbs red bell pepper

Recipe Directions for Pan-Grilled Salmon w/ Crab Cream Sauce

  1. Place oil and butter in a medium saucepan.

  2. Place on stove on low

  3. Saute onion and garlic for 4-5 minutes.

  4. Stir in 150 grams of cooked crab, stirring for about three (3) minutes.

  5. Pour in cream and milk and let simmer for 5-6 minutes.

  6. Using a hand blender, blend mix until pureed.

  7. Add diced Red Bell Pepper (mainly for color).

  8. Allow to reduce.

  9. Add 50 grams of chopped crab to sauce

  10. Simmer for ten minutes

  11. Slice Salmon into seven (7) equal slices

  12. Pan grill steaks

  13. Serve steaks with sauce ladled over the top.
