Pan fried sea bass served with garlic, chilli, spring onions and ginger in soy sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Pan Fried Sea Bass

1 serving Sea bass fillet
1 clove Garlic
3 grams Chilli
10 grams Extra Virgin Olive Oil
10 grams Ginger Root
2 tbsp Soy Sauce

Recipe Directions for Pan Fried Sea Bass

  1. Finely chop the garlic, chilli (approximately a third of a chilli) and ginger. Diagonally slice the spring onions.

  2. Heat the olive oil in a pan.

  3. Season the fish well with salt and pepper, then fry skin side down for approximately five minutes until the skin turns golden and crispy. Then turn the fish over and fry for another minute or so until cooked through. Remove from the pan to a warm plate.

  4. Fry the spring onions, garlic, chilli and ginger until soft. Then add the soy sauce to the pan. Cook for about a minute, then tip over the fish and serve.

  5. Nice with some rice or cous cous.
