Chewy crust, lotsa cheese, not too bad in calories.

Recipe Ingredients for Pam's Pizza

6 cups flour
1 tablespoon active yeast
2 1/2 cups water
32 oz mozzarella cheese, part skim
2 cups tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Pam's Pizza

  1. Dissolve yeast in water. The water should be lukewarm. You can add about 1.5 tsp salt and a pinch of sugar.

  2. Add flour 1 cup at a time and stir like mad. When you can't stir in any more flour, turn out onto floured surface and knead until no longer sticky.

  3. Preheat oven to 500 degrees.

  4. Grease 2 16" pizza pans.

  5. Cut dough in half, and roll each into 17"-18" circles. Place on pan, spread with tomato sauce seasoned with garlic, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Top each pizza with 16 oz cheese.

  6. Place one pan on each rack. Bake until cheese is bubbling and bottom of crust is browning. About 20 minutes. Switch pans in over halfway through baking time.

  7. Cut each into 8 slices. Eat. Enjoy.
