Slightly adjusted basic pad thai recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Pad Thai

12 ounce rice noodles
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon minced ginger
1/4 cup sesame oil
4 eggs
3 tablespoon rice vinegar
6 tablespoons fish sauce
9 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 tablespoon crushed red pepper
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
4 scallion, chopped
2 tablespoons lime juice

Recipe Directions for Pad Thai

  1. Soak rice noodles in cold water 30 to 50 minutes, or until soft.

  2. Drain, and set aside. Heat oil in wok over medium-high heat.

  3. Add garlic and 1/4 chopped scallion and fry until golden.

  4. Crack eggs into hot oil, and cook until firm.

  5. Add softened noodles, and vinegar, fish sauce, sugar and red pepper. Adjust seasonings to taste. Mix while cooking, until noodles are tender.

  6. Garnish with peanuts and scallions
