Recipe Ingredients for Overnight Whole Wheat Pecan Cinnamon Rolls

1 cup milk
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup vanilla yogurt
1 egg
1/4 cup smart balance oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/8 cup yeast
1/2 cup quick oats
3 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup vital wheat gluten
1 cup chopped pecans
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Overnight Whole Wheat Pecan Cinnamon Rolls

  1. In bread maker layer (according to your manual) everything except the butter, pecans, brown sugar and butter. Make on DOUGH cycle.

  2. When it is done roll out into a 8x 14 rectangle. Melt butter, and brush onto rolled dough, leaving about 1/2-1 inch on one long side free of butter (you will use this side to make a seam). Mix brown sugar and cinnamon and layer over the butter. Sprinkle pecans over this. Roll up, like a jelly roll, and cut into 14 equal parts. Evenly distribute between 2 9" rounds. Place in fridge (or freeze one) and leave over night. In the morning, let rise for 1 hour and then bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
