Healthy alternative to boxed waffle mix.

Recipe Ingredients for Overnight Waffles

2 cups oatmeal
1/8 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups skim milk
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoons ground flax seed

Recipe Directions for Overnight Waffles

  1. Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Mix wet ingredients in a blend.

  3. Mix all ingredients together and chill in refrigerator overnight.

  4. Spoon batter onto a hot waffle iron.

  5. Batter will be thick. It can be thinned with a little more milk or water.
