This will make your kitchen smell so good! Roasted Pot Roast w/ carrots and mushroom in a savory broth. Great with red skin parsley potatoes.

Recipe Ingredients for Oven Roasted Pot Roast

2 lb. chuck roast
1 tbsp. California Style Garlic Salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire
1 tbsp. olive oil
14 1/2 oz swanson beef broth

Recipe Directions for Oven Roasted Pot Roast

  1. Preheat oven to 400*

  2. Put olive oil in a heavy roasting pan. Season meat with Worcestershire, garlic salt and thyme on both sides. Place meat into pan.

  3. Cook meat in 400* oven for 20 min.

  4. Clean and prepare veggies (onions, carrots, mushrooms)

  5. After 20 min., place veggies all around meat, pour broth into pan and cover tightly with foil. Turn oven temp down to 325*

  6. Roast for another 2-3 hrs..
