Recipe Ingredients for Oven Fries

1 large potato (sliced into about 16 slices)
1 tbsp. canola oil
1/2 tsp. kosher salt

Recipe Directions for Oven Fries

  1. Place oven rack in top third of oven. Preheat oven to 400. Spray pan with nonstick spray.

  2. Place sliced potatoes on prepared pan. Drizzle with oil and toss to coat. Spread them into a single layer. Bake for 20 minutes.

  3. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with 1/4 tsp. of salt. Flip potatoes and sprinkle with remaining salt.

  4. Return to oven until potatoes are golden, about 15 to 25 minutes.

  5. Sprinkle with salt and serve.

  6. 2 servings--about 8 fries per serving.
