Recipe Ingredients for Oven-Fried Fish

1 pound fish fillets
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons butter

Recipe Directions for Oven-Fried Fish

  1. If fish fillets are large, cut into 5 serving pieces. Stir salt into milk. Dip fish into milk, then coat with bread crumbs. place in well-greased oblong pan, 13x9x2 inches.

  2. Pour melted margarine over fish. Place pan on rackthat is slightly above middle of oven. Cook uncovered in 500 degree oven until fish flakes easily with fork, 10 to 12 minutes.
