This chicken isn't really "fried"!

Recipe Ingredients for Oven Fried Chicken

24 oz Chicken Drumsticks
0.5 cup Lowfat Buttermilk
2 cloves, raw Garlic
1 tsp Parsley, Dried
1 Teaspoon Thyme
1 tablespoon Rosemary
1 tsp, ground Basil, Dried
4 slice Nature's Own 100% Whole Wheat
0.5 tsp Paprika

Recipe Directions for Oven Fried Chicken

  1. Season chicken with salt/pepper. Place in shallow dish large enough to hold chicken in single layer.

  2. Whisk buttermilk, garlic (thinly sliced), and herbs. Pour over chicken and set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.

  3. Preheat oven to 425F. Line large baking sheet with foil.

  4. In shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs (make bread slices into crumbs in food processor first), paprika, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper. Remove chicken from marinade; discard excess. Dredge chicken in breadcrumb mixture, shake off excess and place on baking sheet. Bake about 40-50 minutes until baked through.
