Recipe Ingredients for Oven-Fried Chicken with Orange-Teriyaki Sauce

1 1/4 pounds chicken, cut into 8 pieces
1 1/4 cups cornflakes, crumbled - 3 ounces
1/4 cup grated orange peel
1/4 cup frozen orange juice, thawed
4 tsp butter
1/4 cup sliced scallion
1 clove garlic, minced
8 tsp orange marmalade
2 T water

Recipe Directions for Oven-Fried Chicken with Orange-Teriyaki Sauce

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees

  2. Combine flakes and orange peel.

  3. Pour juice into a small bowl; dip pieces of chicken into juice, then into crumb mixture.

  4. Arrange pieces on cookie sheet.

  5. Bake 10-15 minutes, turn pieces and bake until tender - about 5 minutes longer.

  6. In a saucepan, heat butter until hot and bubbly. Add scallion and garlic. Saute until scallion pieces are soft.

  7. Reduce heat to low. Add remaining ingredients.

  8. Cook until sauce is hot and slightly thickened.
