Recipe Ingredients for Oven Beef Beer Stew

2 lbs beef stew meat
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried marjoram
3 tbsp flour
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 cup yellow onion, chopped
4 clove garlic, minced
1 cup beer
2 cups beef stock
2 1/2 cups carrots, sliced
8 ounces mushrooms, quartered

Recipe Directions for Oven Beef Beer Stew

Preheat oven to 350F. In a large, lightly sprayed or oiled Dutch oven, combine meat, salt, pepper, marjoram, flour, dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, Worchestershire sauce, onion, garlic and beer, and mix well. Cover and bake for 1 hour. Add stock, carrots, and mushrooms and bake, covered until meat is very tender, about 1 hour longer.
