Recipe Ingredients for Oven Baked Garlic Chicken

2 lb chicken
2 cloves garlic
1 Pepper
4 tablespoons butter
1 onion, peeled and halved
1 1/2 cup celery, peeled and chopped into 3 inch pieces
1 1/2 cup carrots, peeled and chopped into 3 inch pieces
2 cups potatos
1 tablespoons olive oil

Recipe Directions for Oven Baked Garlic Chicken

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450

  2. Rinse and pat dry chicken

  3. Mix butter and garlic

  4. Place butter and garlic mixture under the skin of chicken

  5. Roast for 30 minutes at 450

  6. Chop veggies and toss with olive oil

  7. At the end of 30 minutes - put veggies in with chicken

  8. Lower heat to 375

  9. Bake for 40 - 45 minutes
