Healthy chicken tenders for any occasion or age group.

Recipe Ingredients for Oven-Baked Chicken Tenders

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp whole milk
1 Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Oven-Baked Chicken Tenders

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400

  2. Slice the chicken breasts into tenders, about 2 inches wide.

  3. In a wide, shallow bowl mix the milk, mustard, salt and pepper.

  4. Place the breadcrumbs in a similar bowl.

  5. Bread the chicken, coating first in the milk mixture, then in the breadcrumbs.

  6. Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.

  7. Bake for about 15 minutes on each side, or until crispy.
