Orzo with Parmesan and Basil with Chicken

Recipe Ingredients for Orzo with Parmesan and Basil with Chicken

4 cups Orzo
2 cloves Garlic
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
2 teaspoon Salt
4 cups Chicken Breast
2 cups Parmesan Cheese
1 cup Red Bell Pepper
1 cup Yellow Onion
1/8 cup Basil

Recipe Directions for Orzo with Parmesan and Basil with Chicken

  1. Make orzo as directed on package.

  2. Marinate chicken with 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt and garlic.

  3. Cook chicken in pan with a little olive oil.

  4. Cut chicken into cubes.

  5. When orzo is done, drain and rinse with cold water.

  6. Pour other 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

  7. Sprinkle with other 1/8 teaspoon of salt and parmesan cheese.

  8. Add red bell pepper and yellow onion to orzo mixture and blend all together.

  9. Put chicken cubes into the mix and serve with some basil on top.
