Basic, easy, but tastey banana bread recipe. Nuts and chocolate chips optional.

Recipe Ingredients for Original Banana Bread

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
3 bananas
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Original Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Mix first 5 ingredients in a bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, mash bananas then add eggs, oil, and vanilla.

  4. Combine contents of both bowls, mix well.

  5. Bake 1 hour and 5 minutes.

  6. Can add 1/2 cup walnuts and/or chocolate chips for extra goodness.
