A tangy, slightly hot sauce. Great on chicken.

Recipe Ingredients for Oriental peanut sauce

2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon fresh ground ginger
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon chili paste (Sriracha)
2 tablespoons water

Recipe Directions for Oriental peanut sauce

  1. Blend all ingredients. Utilize your best judgement to make it to your liking. For instance, you may want to add more or less water for your preferred consistency. You may want to add more chili paste and step up the heat. You may want to use half the honey or substitute duck sauce. Hint: If you purchase fresh ginger, peel all of it and freeze it. When needed, simply pull out of freezer, run it across your microplane or grater and freeze remaining. It won't go bad. Just wrap it well.

  2. I like this sauce with diced chicken, chopped cucumber, sweet onion and sweet bell peppers, with rice noodles and granulated peanuts on a bed of greens. Very fulfilling.
