A decent low calorie meal for dinner

Recipe Ingredients for Oriental Cabbage and Fish Stir Fry

1/2 head cabbage, medium
1/2 head red cabbage, small
18 oz Tilapia
8 oz Water Chestnuts
8 oz Bamboo Shoots
1 Onion, small
4 Garlic cloves
8 oz Mushrooms, canned
1 tbl Hoisin Sauce
4 tbl Soy Sauce
1 tbl Sesame Oil
2 tbl Rice Vinegar
9 g teas Sesame Seeds
1 tsp Basil
1 tsp Anise Seed
1 tsp Ginger
1 teas Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Oriental Cabbage and Fish Stir Fry

  1. Chop cabbage into 1 inch pieces

  2. Add soy sauce and vinegar to cabbage, toss to mix and then set aside

  3. Chop fish into 1 inch pieces

  4. Add Hoisin and sesame oil to the fish and set aside

  5. Open and drain all canned goods

  6. Cut onion in half and then slice into 1/8 inch strips

  7. Crush garlic and mince

  8. Heat evoo in wok over medium high heat

  9. Add Mushrooms, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts to wok and saute until tender. Remove and set aside.

  10. Add cabbage to wok and saute until tender but not soft. Remove and set aside.

  11. Add onions and garlic to wok. Saute until garlic and onions just start to turn golden brown.

  12. Add fish and all spices to wok and cook until firm.

  13. Return the ingredients that were set aside back into the wok and toss to reheat.
