Chow mein noodles on top of water chestnuts, bean sprouts adn mushrooms w/ beef

Recipe Ingredients for Oriental Beef Supper

1 lb. ground beef
10 3/4 oz. cream of mushroom soup
16 oz. bean sprouts, drained
8 oz. water chestnuts, sliced and drained
4 oz. mushroom pieces, undrained
1 c. diced celery
1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tsp. instant minced onion
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 oz. chow mein noodles

Recipe Directions for Oriental Beef Supper

  1. Cook ground beef; drain.

  2. Add remaining ingredients except noodles in large skillet.

  3. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Spoon mixture into serving dish. Sprinkle with noodles.

  4. Yield 6-8 servings.
