Orange & ginger steak stir-fry

Recipe Ingredients for Orange & ginger steak stir-fry

1 tbs orange juice
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1 tbs balsamic vinegar
50 g. lean beef
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 spring onions
1 small carrot
1/2 pepper
75 g. broccoli

Recipe Directions for Orange & ginger steak stir-fry

  1. Mix together the orange juice, olive oil, ginger and vinegar together in a small bowl. Add the steak, cut into strips, and set aside to marinade for at least 30 minutes, longer if you can.

  2. Heat a non-stick pan to quite a high heat and add the steak pieces. Keep the meat moving to allow it to seal on all sides.

  3. Add the soy sauce, lemon juice and spring onion whites, and cook for 3 minutes.

  4. Add the sliced carrot and pepper, spring onion greens and broccoli florets, along with the remainder of the orange marinade, and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring often, until the vegetables are just tender and the steak cooked to your liking.
