Recipe Ingredients for Orange Ginger Carrots

3 cups carrots, sliced
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon butter

Recipe Directions for Orange Ginger Carrots

  1. Place carrots in a vegetable steamer, steam for 5 minutes or until tender-crisp. Keep warm.

  2. In the same pan, combine the cornstarch, salt and ginger. Stir in orange juice until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in butter until melted. Add carrots and toss to coat.
