Recipe Ingredients for Orange Date Muffins

1 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
0.75 cup, dry, yields Oats
9 date Dates, Domestic, Natural And Dry
1 fruit (2-5/8" dia) Oranges
0.5 cup Orange Juice
0.52 cup (8 fl oz) Yogurt, Plain, Low Fat, 12 Grams Protein Per 8 Ounce
1 large Egg, White
3 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.25 cup Sugars, Granulated

Recipe Directions for Orange Date Muffins

  1. Chop up whole orange, mix with orange juice, sugar, dates, and egg.

  2. Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl and then blend with wet. Fold in yogurt. Spoon into greased muffin tins.
