Flavored wheat bread from Mark Miller, Cayote Cafe

Recipe Ingredients for Orange Cumin Bread

2 T dry yeast
2 c water, warm
6 T dry milk
2 T cumin, roasted ground
1/2 c splenda
5 T canola oil
1/2 c frozen orange juice
1/4 c cornmeal
1 c wheat flour
4 cup flour
1 T salt

Recipe Directions for Orange Cumin Bread

  1. Prep yeast with warm water

  2. Mix cumin dry milk splenda canola orange juice cornmeal and wheat flour

  3. Add white flour and salt

  4. mix, knead until elastic

  5. let rise 30 minutes and punch down, rise againg 30 minutes

  6. Divide into two loafs place in loaf pans

  7. Let rise 30-40 minutes until edge of pans

  8. slice top 3 spots

  9. bake 400 40 minutes
