This reminds me a little of my favorite orange-cranberry oatmeal cookies.

Recipe Ingredients for Orange Cranberry Oatmeal

2/3 cup vanilla soymilk
1/4 tsp orange zest
2 tbsp orange juice
4 tsp sugar
1 tsp ground flax seed
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup quick oats

Recipe Directions for Orange Cranberry Oatmeal

  1. Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. While it is heating, add orange zest, juice, sugar, flax seed, salt, and cranberries.

  2. When it comes to a boil, reduce heat to low and add oatmeal. Allow to cook for at least a minute.
