Recipe Ingredients for Orange Chicken

2 cup, chopped or diced Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water
0.33 cup Orange Juice
2 tbsp Vinegar, Cider
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
0.33 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
0.5 tsp Ginger Root
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne
0.33 oz Corn Starch
2 cup, chopped Broccoli
2 cup White Rice

Recipe Directions for Orange Chicken

  1. Cut the chicken into cubes and cook over medium heat until cooked through.

  2. Steam broccoli for 3-5 minutes, until tender-crisp.

  3. Follow instructions for instant rice.

  4. Combine water, OJ, rice vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes in saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat.

  5. Mix corn starch with about 1 tsp water to make a paste.

  6. Turn heat to low, add the paste and stir in.

  7. Turn heat back to medium and bring to a boil for about 3-5 min to thicken.

  8. Put broccoli and chicken into the saucepan and coat thoroughly.

  9. Serve over rice.
