Recipe Ingredients for Orange Balsamic Basil Marinated Salmon

1 orange, cut into 1/4-inch round slices
1 orange, Juice of
8 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp organic balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup chopped basil leaves
1 Black pepper, Organic coarse ground
1/4 tsp salt
24 oz salmon, filets

Recipe Directions for Orange Balsamic Basil Marinated Salmon

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Set aside the orange slices. Whisk together the orange juice, garlic, balsamic vinegar, basil, salt and a sprinkling of black pepper in a large bowl.

  2. Add the salmon, turn to coat, and let sit covered for 15 minutes. Remove the salmon from the marinade, shake off the extra, and place on to a baking dish. Bake for 6-8 minutes, until slightly pink in the middle. Serve accompanied by the orange slices.
