Recipe Ingredients for Open Faced Turkey Melt

1 lb lean ground turkey
8 slices Bread, Reduced-calorie, Wheat
1 onion
1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Open Faced Turkey Melt

  1. Slice onion into circles. Place onions in microwavable bowl with about 1/4 cup on water in the bowl with the onions.

  2. Mircrowave sliced onions on high for 7 minutes

  3. Combined turkey burger with non caloric seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, ect.). Add 1 egg to turkey burger and combined well.

  4. Make turkey into 8 patties. Grill patties.

  5. Slice 1/2 cup of cheese into slices

  6. Toast bread

  7. Place the burger onions and cheese on 1 slice of bread. Making an opened face patty melt
