95 g 100% Whole Wheat Bagels
2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
2 medium eggs
2 slices tomato
2 slices onion
2 ring+3"+dia,+1/4"+thick green pepper
2 oz low fat cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Open-Faced Bagel Egg Sandwich

  1. Toast the whole-wheat bagels.

  2. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a medium skillet; fry the eggs in the heated oil.

  3. Place half the tomato, avocado, and cheese on top of each half of the toasted bagel. Top each with an egg.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve open-faced.
