Because I still crave them but now want to know what is in them

Recipe Ingredients for Onions Rings

1 tablespoon Baking powder
1 Egg
1 Onion
1/2 cup Cooking Oil
7 tablespoons of white flour

Recipe Directions for Onions Rings

  1. Mix the flour, baking powder and the egg together. Add a little water to make into quite a thick batter. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and put in an open bowl.

  2. Slice the onions and separate into rings.

  3. Toss the onion rings in some more flour then coat in the batter.

  4. Fry the coated onion rings. Do this either in a hot deep fat fryer, or by heating up a good covering of oil in a pan.

  5. Drop in the onion rings and cook until golden brown on both sides, turning as needed. Do not put in too many at any one time as they will reduce the heat and get stuck to each other.
