1 large red onion
2 cans beef consomme
1 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Onion Soup

  1. Chop onion.

  2. Saute onion in olive oil.

  3. When onion is soft, add consomme and bring to a boil.

  4. Serve as is or add croutons and cheese and place under broiler to melt cheese.
