Recipe Ingredients for One Pan Goulash

2 cups canned diced tomatoes
1 pound lean ground beef
1 onion
4 cloves garlic
1 zucchini
2 cups beef broth
4 tablespoons tomato paste
2 t dried basil
1 cup uncooked whole wheat elbow macaroni
1 cup mushrooms

Recipe Directions for One Pan Goulash

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.

  2. Add the ground beef, onion and garlic.

  3. Cook till the beef is browned, drain well.

  4. Add the zucchini and mushrooms, saute till soft.

  5. Add herbs, tomato paste, tomatoes (including juice) and broth.

  6. Stir well and add salt to taste.

  7. Add dry macaroni.

  8. Brin gto a boil then reduce to simmer for 12-14 minutes or until macaroni is soft.
