these delicious baked goodies contain three different sources of omega 3 fats, flaxseed, omega 3 eggs and walnuts. They also have tonnes of antioxidants with the blueberries and cranberries. They freeze well. Pop a frozen one in a plastic bage and into your purse in the morning and it will have defrosted by mid morning snack time.

Recipe Ingredients for omega oatmeal muffins

1 1/2 c oatmeal
1 c whole wheat flour
1/2 c flaxseed
3/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c walnuts
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 c skim milk
1 c applesauce
1 c cranberries
1 c blueberries

Recipe Directions for omega oatmeal muffins

add all the dry ingredients, mix well, set aside. Add all the wet ingredients, mix well. Stir both together, add fruit. Bake at 400F in pam sprayed muffin tray for 23-25 min.
