Recipe Ingredients for Olive Oil Pound Cake

2.25 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
12 serving Olive Oil
1.5 cup Sugars, Granulated
0.3 fl oz Simply Orange Orange Juice Calcium Fortified
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
3 medium Egg, Whole
0.67 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat

Recipe Directions for Olive Oil Pound Cake

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 325 F and oil a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.

  2. 2. Combine flour, salt, and baking powder.

  3. 3. Place olive oil in large mixing bowl. With an electric mixer slowly mix in sugar, orange

  4. juice, and vanilla extract. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then,

  5. add milk and mix for 2 minutes. Gradually mix in dry ingredients.

  6. 4. Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake for 60-75 minutes, or until cake tester comes out

  7. clean and cake is golden on top. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove from pan

  8. and cool completely on a cooling rack.
