Recipe Ingredients for olive oil mayonnaise

6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe Directions for olive oil mayonnaise

  1. Measure 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil into a small mixing bowl.

  2. Add one egg. Egglands Best tastes the best.

  3. Add 1 Tablespoon of cider vinegar.

  4. Add 1 teaspoon mustard powder.

  5. Add salt or salt substitute to taste.

  6. Add pepper to taste.

  7. Using a hand blender blend well.

  8. While still blending, add the remaining 2 Tablespoons of olive oil.

  9. Blend well, and refrigerate.

  10. Makes about 12 1 Tablespoon servings.

  11. Keeps very well in the refrigerator.
