Recipe Ingredients for Olive Oil Bread

1 tbsp kosher salt
1 1/2 pounds bread flour
3/4 cup olive oil
1 oz yeast
2 cups water

Recipe Directions for Olive Oil Bread

  1. With electric mixer, combine water, flour, yeast and olive oil.

  2. Cover with Saran and leave until doubled in bulk.

  3. Use mixer hook, add salt, and combine on low speed. Then raise speed to medium and beat until dough pulls away from bowl sides (3 min.).

  4. Knead yourself X 1min. Transfer to oiled bowl.

  5. Let rise until doubled (X 1hr).

  6. Fold horizontally until thirds. Then fold vertically until thirds.

  7. Cover with Saran and let rest X 15 min.

  8. Shape bread and rest X 30 min.

  9. Bake in oven at 450 X 35 min.
