Recipe Ingredients for Olive Garden Zuppa Toscano

1 lb Italian Sausage, ground
1 red pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
4 strips bacon
2 cloves garlic
4 cups chicken broth
6 cups water
1 cup half and half
3 large potatoes
2 cups kale, torn

Recipe Directions for Olive Garden Zuppa Toscano

  1. Saute sausage, onion, red pepper and garlic in a large pot. Drain Excess fat and set aside.

  2. Add chicken broth and water to pot and bring it to a boil.

  3. Add sliced potatoes and cook until soft, about 30 minutes.

  4. Add the half-and-half and cook just until heated through.

  5. Stir in the sausage and kale, heat through and serve.
