Great way to use up extra mashed potatos. Can be fried or baked.

Recipe Ingredients for Old Time Potato Patties

4 cups mashed potato
2 eggs
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 tablespoon milk
1 Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Old Time Potato Patties

  1. Mix on 1 egg into potato and the other into milk in a bowl for coating.

  2. Put bread crumbs in separate bowl for coating with salt and pepper to taste

  3. Scoop 1/2 cup of mix and form into a patty.

  4. Roll in egg mix and then bread crumbs.

  5. Fry in a small amount of oil or bake in oven (350 F) for about 20 min.
