Delicious dense white bread. I make the dough, but bake in oven. Also, can be used to make stuffed breads.

Recipe Ingredients for Old Fashioned White Bread (Bread maker)

13 ounces fat free milk
2 tbsp butter
4 c. flour
2 1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. yeast

Recipe Directions for Old Fashioned White Bread (Bread maker)

  1. Add liquid ingredients and butter to pan. Add all dry ingrediants on top of liquids, except yeast. Tap pan to settle and level. Make a well in center of dry ingredients and add the yeast. Lock pan and either program for one hour bread, or dough settings.

  2. If using the dough setting, remove dough and placed into a bowl brushed with olive oil. Turn dough so all sides are covered in oil to prevent drying out. Punched down 2-3 times and put in warm, dry place with clean towel over bowl. After one hour, shape into loaf on baking sheet, or roll out maybe 1/2 " thickness and add thin sliced pepperoni and some cheese - whatever you want in your stuffed bread and roll up. Egg wash top and add sesame seeds (optional) and bake on 375-425 degrees for approx. 10-12 minutes. I bake on parchment paper to prevent bottom from getting browner then top of bread. Slice when cooled off.
