Recipe Ingredients for Old-fashioned oatmeal cookies

1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup raisins

Recipe Directions for Old-fashioned oatmeal cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Cream together sugars and butter. Add vanilla extract and stir.

  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time.

  4. In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda and salt.

  5. Add the dry ingredients into the butter mixture.

  6. Fold in the oats.

  7. Add raisins, stir well.

  8. Bake on lightly greased baking sheets for 10 to 12 minutes, or until sides begin to brown.
