Recipe Ingredients for old fashion peanut butter cookies

3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for old fashion peanut butter cookies

  1. heat over to 350* In a large mixing bowl cram the butter. Add the sugars to the butter and cream together. beat in peanut butter. add eggs one at a time, mixing until combined. mix in the vanilla extract

  2. in medium mixing bowl stir together flour baking soda, baking powder and salt. gradually add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture and stir until thoroughly combined

  3. lightly flour your hands, roll a heaping table spoon into a 1.5 inch ball. place ball on ungreased cookie sheet. continue until you have placed about 9 balls on the cookie sheet

  4. press the tines of a fork into the balls both to flatten the dow and create a pattern

  5. back until the cookies are lightly brown around the edges about 10 to 12 minutes
