Recipe Ingredients for Ohio Style Meatloaf

1 lb ground beef
50 g Ritz crackers, crushed
1/2 cup French Fried Onions
1 cup ketchup
1 egg
1/4 cup mustard

Recipe Directions for Ohio Style Meatloaf

  1. Combine half the ketchup with all other ingredients, reserving the other half of the ketchup.

  2. Knead until uniform in texture, then shape into a loaf and place on a pan that will allow fat to drain away, or if you have used extra lean beef, you may press it into a loaf pan instead.

  3. Glaze with remaining ketchup.

  4. Cook at 350 degrees until cooked through.

  5. If the glaze begins to blacken before the meatloaf is done cooking, apply more ketchup glaze and return to oven.

  6. Allow to cool at least 10 min before cutting.
