Recipe Ingredients for Oats apples and whites

1 cup oatmeal
1 cup egg whites
2 cups apple, chopped

Recipe Directions for Oats apples and whites

Put two cups chopped apple into a pot and sprinkle with cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg. Cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes, then add the oats plus 1.5 cups water. Bring to just a boil, then cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add the egg whites and stir gently but constantly to incorporate them. As the whites cook, they will thicken the oat mixture. When the mixture has thickened and the whites are cooked, you may remove from heat and serve, or allow to cool and store in the fridge for later.
