Great dense muffins that taste good

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal whole wheat muffins

1 cup quick cooking oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tbsp flax seeds
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 banana
1/3 cup applesauce (no sugar added)
3/4 cup non fat milk
1 apple
1/4 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal whole wheat muffins

  1. put dry ingredients in mixer. Add in wet ingredients and mix lightly. Add in walnuts lightly to finish.

  2. I substituted 1/4 cup Acai Berry Juice for 1/4 cup of the milk. Made them taste very good and added in extra goodness, although that wasn't included in the evaluation.
