modified from King Arthur Flour recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Wheat Sandwhich bread

2 c bread flour
1 c rolled oats
1 c wheat flour
1/2 c wheat germ
2 T butter
1 T olive oil
3 T brown sugar
2 1/2 t yeast
1 1/2 c milk

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Wheat Sandwhich bread

  1. Mix all ingredients

  2. Knead for 5 min by machine or 10 min by hand

  3. Let rise in bowl for 1 hr

  4. Shape and put into greased pan

  5. Let rise 1 hour

  6. Bake at 350 for 40 min or until internal temp. is 190.
